Women as Symbol of Strength

In this century Women are the new symbol of strength, as we stand firm despite all the heartaches that we have endured long enough to become the better person we can be.

The extreme and disgusting Asian Hate is now rampant in the United States which led me to a video showing that a grandmother was being punched by a stranger. A person hitting someone else without a just reason is inhumane. I’ve been very emotional seeing the grandmother holding the stick and use it as a weapon to defend herself.

A woman is enduring, fighting whilst shedding a tear. Most of us women don’t have the courage to speak up and defend ourselves before, but now we are the symbol of strength we initiate things that can be an eye-opener to everyone. As we experience hardship throughout life we are still in pain yet still we fight.

We should use this strength in teaching the younger generation to be more compassionate and show that we are worthy of respect.

To the end of the celebration of Women’s Month, this is my “Pasasalamat” (Tagalog word for thanks)to all the Women everywhere and all the men who continuously support and encourage every woman in need(Salute!).
